二、培养目标(Second: Cultivation Objective of Education )

本学科培养具有良好的科学道德品质,具有扎实的数学理论基础和较宽的学术视野,具有提出数学问题及分析解决问题的能力,毕业后能够在数学及其相关领域的高新技术企业、科研部门、高等院校从事科学研究与教学等工作的专门人才。

Firstly,it is significant that the graduatesfromthe math department possess scientific moralquality, and then they master the solid theory of mathematics and have wide academic field.The graduates can applyflexibly their mathematical knowledge and skills to solve the math problems and practical problems. The graduates can be quite qualitied for a work concern with math, such as worker in the scientific company, theofficer in the researchdepartment and teacher in the college etc.

三、主要研究方向(Third: TheMainResearchFields)

1.代数与组合数学(1.Algebra andCombinatorialMathematics)

该方向致力于代数学与组合数学中的基础前沿问题的研究,研究领域包括几何表示论、Hall代数、组合张量理论和代数图论等.

The research field devotes to the investigation of the algebra and combinatorial and mathematics, such as the geometricrepresentation theory, Hall algebra, combination of tensor and algebraic graph theory.

2.微分方程理论(2. Theory of the Differential Equation)

该方向致力于微分方程中前沿问题的研究,主要研究领域包括非线性发展方程定解问题的动力学形态、常微分方程的分歧理论、非线性泛函分析及其应用、变指数微分包含问题、随机微分方程、力学中的微分方程问题等等.

The research field is mainly concern with the theory of the differential equation, such as dynamical behavior of the nonlinear evolution equation, the bifurcation of the ordinary differential equation, the nonlinear functional analysis and its application,variable exponent differential inclusion, randomdifferential equation and the differential equation in mechanics.

3.应用数学(3. Applied Mathematics)

该方向主要致力于数据分析的不确定性理论和方法研究,包括不确定性数学理论及方法、数据挖掘与机器学习、图像分析与模式识别、小波分析等

The research field studies the unconcern theories and methodologies in the data analysis, such as the unconcern theories and methodologies, data mining and machine learning, image analysis and pattern recognition, wavelet analysis.

4.运筹学与控制论(4. Optimization and Automatic Control Theory)

该方向致力于系统建模与分析中前沿问题的研究,主要研究领域包括数值分析与智能优化算法、不确定系统与信息处理、水下机器人、线性与非线性系统控制、多智能体系统等等

The research field studies the advanced question of thesystem modelling and analysis, including numerical analysis and intelligent optimization algorithm, uncertain system and information processing, underwater robot, linear and nonlinear system control, multi-agent systems.

5.计算数学(5.Numerical Mathematics)

本方向致力于高精度数值格式的构造与船舶与海洋流体力学领域数值计算理论与方法中前沿问题的研究,主要研究领域包括无网格法、高阶边界元法、基于Navier-Stokes方程的数值理论与方法等.

The research field concentrates on building up the high accuracy numerical method and numerical calculation theory and method used at ship and ocean hydromechanics, such as meshless method, higher order boundary element method, thenumerical theory and method based on the Navier-Stokes equation.

四、课程设置与学分要求(Four:TheCurriculum andCourseCredits)

硕士研究生学制为2.5年,最长学习年限为4年。一般用0.75学年完成课程学习,在文献综述报告前修完课程学分,在学位论文答辩前完成全部学分。

The educational system for master’ degreeis 2.5 years,which is no more than4 years. The course study should be completed in0.75 year commonly before the literature review report, reaching according require of course credits. The totalcreditsshould be got before the dissertation.

硕士研究生在读期间,所修总学分不低于28学分,其中学位课14学分,综合环节3学分,专业选修课11学分。

Every student should get credits no less than 28,including 14credits ofdegree course credits,3credits ofsynthesis,11credits ofspecialty optional course.
